Seat Centres

The Lotus seat centres can be spaced between 460 mm and 500+ mm, ensuring a comfortable and ergonomic seating arrangement. This range provides adequate space for users, promoting comfort during extended periods of sitting whilst also being compliant with latest guidance from the Sports Ground Safety Authority if installed appropriately.

This indicates that the seating conforms with the highest levels of testing for heavy-duty use and is suitable for high-traffic areas, ensuring both user safety and long-term performance.

Designed-in Recesses

The seat design includes a recess that allows for easy integration of seat numbering or branding. This feature is particularly useful in stadiums, theatres, or cinemas where seat identification is necessary. The recess design ensures that any numbering or branding remains securely in place and is easy to read without interfering with the overall aesthetic of the seating arrangement.

Support Pedestal

Under certain conditions, seats cannot be directly mounted to a grandstand structure, requiring the use of a riser-fixed bracket or tread-fixed pedestal. These components are galvanized as standard to offer superior protection against rust and corrosion, with the option for an additional overcoat for further protection.

Seat Numbering/Identification

The most widely used method to label or identify seats. Aluminium number discs are most common and durable, either being riveted to the seat or attached via high grade self-adhesive. They provide a professional and lasting solution, offering greater resistance to wear and tear over time. Another option is polyester seat numbering, which are adhesive-backed labels or stickers that can be applied straight on to a seat, without riveting, via the high grade self-adhesive. This is a simple and usually more cost-effective option, often used in retro fit scenarios

Branding Inserts

Branding inserts refer to custom-made plates/plaques that can be incorporated into the seats to display logos, company/people’s names, and other branding elements, enhancing the spectator experience with visual identity. These inserts are either self-adhesive backed aluminium plate or polyester sheet secured into the especially designed recess.

Fire Retardant Additives (FR)

Commonly included to meet safety standards and regulations where necessary. Fire retardant additives are materials or chemical compounds added to products like polypropylene copolymer, vinyl upholstery, coatings, or other materials to improve their fire resistance.
