John Smith's Stadium - Huddersfield AFC

Huddersfield’s award-winning 1994 stadium was cutting edge design of its time.  The original spectator seating is compatible with the Link Mirage range, allowing the stadium operators to utilise Link seats when replacing damaged or fatigued seats.

With the aim of refreshing the stadium appearance and associating more closely with the identity of Huddersfield Town AFC, we were contracted to supply and install white seats arranged in stripes 4 positions wide located within three of the four main stands.  

As part of our service to maximise the benefit to the club, our installers used their extensive experience to fit new plastics onto existing support posts, reducing the overall costs and making the installation much quicker.  

Installation was scheduled in season, with sections programmed between fixtures, allowing the ground to operate at full capacity for every home game.  Our project planning resources allow us to accommodate staged projects like this  with ease – completing the refurbishment without issue and on schedule.
