Croke Park is more than just a stadium—it’s the beating heart of Gaelic sport, a place where history is made and legends are celebrated. As a company with a proven track record of providing high-quality, reliable seating solutions for GAA venues, we were honoured to be appointed to supply 36,000 new Link Mirage seats in the lower tier of the spectator accommodation.
A Project Built on Experience
Having successfully delivered seating solutions for a variety of GAA stadia—including Páirc Uí Chaoimh and St Tiernach’s Park (Páirc Thiarnaigh Naofa)—we understand the importance of durability, comfort, and aesthetics when it comes to stadium seating. Croke Park, one of Europe’s most iconic sporting venues, required a solution that would not only refresh the look of the lower ‘bowl’ but also enhance the experience for spectators.
Delivered On Time & On Budget
The project commenced in the autumn of 2023, with a clear goal: to complete the installation well in advance of the 2024 All-Ireland Finals. Thanks to careful planning, efficient execution, and collaboration with all stakeholders, the seating installation was delivered on time and within budget—a testament to our expertise and commitment to excellence.
Enhancing the Atmosphere of a Historic Venue
The newly installed Link Mirage seats have made a significant impact on the visual appeal and ambiance of Croke Park’s lower tier. By modernising the seating while maintaining the stadium’s proud heritage, we believe this upgrade contributes to the overall experience of fans and players alike.

This major GAA stadium in Cork underwent a major facelift from 2015-2017 and Link Seats were chosen to complete the enhancement of the stadium facilities. The programme of works increased the capacity from around 32,550 to 45,000 in a combination of general admission and VIP seating styles, making it the fourth-largest Gaelic games stadium in Ireland.

Irish Independent Park
This ground, originally named Musgrave Park, has been a major base for Irish Rugby football since the 1940s. It was significantly enhanced in 2014 with the erection of a new West Stand containing 3,500 Link seats along with a number of other ground improvements including changing, medical, media and function rooms.
This stand hugely improved the facilities and promoted the importance of the ground as part of the development of Irish rugby in the Cork area as well as facilitating the hosting of large-scale concerts enhancing the financial performance of the stadium as a modern multi-purpose municipal stadium.

Franklins Gardens
Link Seating has a long-standing relationship with Franklins Gardens – the home of Premiership Rugby’s Northampton Saints. Three of the four stands feature Link seating in various configurations. In 2018 we refreshed and rebranded the Tetley’s stand as it transitioned to its new identity as the Carlsberg Stand including providing an upgrade and extension of the VIP seating and increased capacity bringing the ground up to 15,249 seats.
This project saw some 3,400 seats installed in four weeks incorporating the Carlsberg Logo and brand colours opposite the Church’s Stand on the longer sides of the ground. This rapid execution of the project was possible because of the exclusive Link clip-on seat mechanisms which allow installation and removal without removing seat legs.
The new VIP seating complements the extensive upgrade of the facilities in the Carlsberg Stand to provide an enhanced comfortable spectator experience in executive areas.

Link Stadium Seating were selected by Westmeath GAA club to assist them develop a cost effective and practical renewal scheme that would facilitate the upgrade of existing outdated seating at Cusack Park.
In order to release client staff for other duties, our project team managed the assignment from beginning to end. Our specialist, Irish based onsite team expertly handled the removal and disposal of the redundant seats.
We supplied new Mirage seats in the club’s main colour of maroon. They were installed to the extant concrete tiering with our fully galvanised steel support posts. The introduction of the fresh coloured seats was a significant aesthetic improvement and mirrored the identity and ambitions of the club.
The finished result was an overwhelming success for both Westmeath GAA and ourselves. We look forward to continuing our association as a trusted supplier and supporting future phases of the stadium enhancements.

This project for Preston North End Football Club demonstrates our ability to handle small-scale installations with the same professional high-level standards that we apply to larger projects.
In this scenario, the club decided that a block of existing seats from another supplier were extremely tired/worn out and had now become life expired. Having knowledge of and confidence in our Link seats installed elsewhere in the Deepdale Stadium, they engaged with us to deliver an installation of circa 60 seats.
The installation was scheduled and carried out between fixtures mid-season allowing them to continue without any disruption to their fixture schedule allowing the stadium to operate at full capacity for all home matches.

Ibrox is one of the UK’s most iconic stadiums – well known and admired around the world for its capacity and design features. For many years, the Link Mirage seat has been favoured and gradually integrated to become the majority seat within all 4 stands.
As part of a rolling multi-phase refurbishment programme, we were contracted for the renewal of approximately 600 ‘enclosure’ seat positions within the Bill Struth Stand during the summer prior to the start of the 2019-2020 SPL.
Within 2 weeks our operatives had completely removed all the obsolete seats and installed fresh Mirage seats in keeping with the remainder of that area. This section of the stand now benefits from a universally consistent smart appearance.
In addition to the renewal of the east enclosure, we also:
- supplied and installed upgraded upholstered seating to a section of corporate seating, replacing outdated and fatigued pedestal seats in the Members Section; and
- supplied Mirage seats specially adapted to interface with fixing positions in the unique steel clad terracing of the upper tier of the Bill Struth Stand.

Turf Moor Stadium Burnley FC
This historic, quintessential football venue has been home to Burnley Football Club since 1883- making it the longest continuously used ground of any of the 49 teams which have played in the English Premier League.
Realising the durability and robust qualities of the Link mirage seat from previous refurbishments- the club once again selected our product upon deciding to renew the spectator seating in the lower tier of the James Hargreaves Stand prior to the start of the 2019-2020 Premiership season.
During the limited pre-season period- our operatives were able to swiftly remove and dispose of circa 3,400 life expired seat positions allowing for the installation of brand-new gleaming Mirage tip up seats.
The whole project – removal, installation and handover was completed well in advance of the first Premier League match. The efficiency and speed of our installation team was greatly appreciated by ground staff- releasing their time to focus their efforts on other aspects of pre-season preparation.
